Erin spent over decade working for world-class corporations, mainly in the financial services sector. Throughout her career she approached technology with diligence and detail. And in 2009 when leaving her position at a high-frequency trading firm, she saw a need for IT support services for the small business that took the same structured approach to serving clients learned over a career in corporate IT.

Erin started Simply Smart Technology in late 2009 and built it from the ground up. Erin grew the business for years organically based around client satisfaction and retention. We never lock folks into a long-term contract, all our services can be canceled with 30 days notice, and we have one of the highest client retention rates in our industry. I believe we keep our clients because we are good at our job and we don't just stop there.

Marcela started with Simply Smart Technology as a Help Desk Technician and quickly earned the role of Help Desk Manager. With a Bachelors of Applied Science with a concentration in Computer Networking and a Bachelor of Business Administration she is as business minded as she is tech savvy.

Her previous work experience involves providing Desktop and Network Support for Non-Profit Organizations and Small Businesses. She encourages the use of technology to provide quality customer service and to boost productivity.

Alex Wagner is a graduate of Bradley University in Management Information Systems. Before coming to Simply Smart Technology Alex worked for 4 years at a managed IT support provider located in the Chicago suburbs. During that time he was tasked with overseeing all computers in the network, managing their active directory of users, and assisting in all technology procurement for the network. With his hands-on experience in the areas of server management, network administration, and IT security he has expanded his programming, critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.

During his time at Bradley University, Wagner has cultivated his leadership and communication skills through various campus activities. He is currently a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and has served as the Scholastic Chair and Executive Committee member for two years. He has also played club hockey for the university for the past four years, captaining the team in his final year.

Michael is an IT industry veteran, working for over 16 years doing client facing technical support. Michael has worked on projects ranging from large scale desktop deployments to video conference deployments to phone system roll outs to help desk support.

Thomas earned multiple awards while obtaining a degree in Network Engineering and Security, Computer and Information Sciences from DePaul University including Dean's List, Upsilon Pi Epsilon, and National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

During and after college Thomas worked at the Geek Squad doing high-volume hands on break fix computer repairs. In his free time Thomas has worked virtualization, network, and Amazon Compute Cloud projects.
